Urban Earth is a South African sustainability consultancy established in 2010. We facilitate action to tackle environmental problems such as climate change. We work with large energy users to bring down their consumption, reduce their energy costs, and lower their carbon footprints. Our clients include government, development agencies, business and the not-for-profit sector. We provide services in four areas:
1. Energy Management Solutions: We provide energy management solutions to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
2. Digital Tool Development: We develop and help implement a range of bespoke digital tools to support sustainability.
3. Research and Policy: We undertake sustainability research and facilitate the development of sustainability policies.
4. Communication and Training: We develop sustainability communication materials and training courses.
Urban Earth’s energy efficiency and sustainability work contributes towards South Africa’s transition to a low-carbon, circular economy.
