Our model includes refurbishing IT hardware, effectively extending product lifecycles, reducing e‑waste and promoting resource efficiency.
Our Flexi‑Rent, enables businesses to access technology through rental rather than outright purchase, an approach aligned with circular economy principles.
How Re.Works Africa is supporting circularity:
1. Refurbishment & Reuse
Re.Works Africa refurbishes IT equipment such as servers, laptops and desktops for multiple life cycles rather than sending hardware to landfill. This helps reduce e‑waste generation and conserves raw materials.
2. Product-as-a-Service (Rental Model)
Through our Flexi‑Rent offering, Re.Works Africa enables enterprises and institutions to use equipment without buying it. After rental periods, the hardware is returned, refurbished and rented out again which promotes reuse rather than disposal.
3. Corporate Engagement
By partnering with businesses that want to minimize e‑waste and resource consumption, Re.Works Africa supports larger companies in achieving supply‑chain circularity and sustainability goals.
